The Bead Society of New Jersey is a varied group of artists all sharing their love of beading and jewelry making.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month. Meeting set-up is 6:30 to 7:00 pm. Meeting check-in and networking begins at 7:00 pm with the program starting at 7:30 pm. Bring your own bead projects and socialize before the program. Our meetings are held at the Fellowship Hall of the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 95 Cambridge Drive, Matawan, NJ 07747. The church is located near Parkway Exit 117A. It is close to the intersection of Route 34 and Lloyd Road.

Our members comprise glass bead artists, bead stringers and designers, seed bead enthusiasts, loomers, polymer clay workers, wire workers, embellishers - all aspects of bead jewelry.

squares of hope

The members of our society beaded and donated these squares to the Bead-It-Forward project, these squares will be sewn together to make different items and then raffled to raise money for breast cancer research, treatment and ultimately a cure.
