The Bead Society of New Jersey was established in 1991 to provide a forum for the study and exchange of information and ideas relating to beads and bead associated subjects. Meetings are held monthly, with the exception of July, August and December. Membership in the Bead Society enables bead enthusiasts to participate in all scheduled activities. Guest lecturers, demonstrations, and exchange evenings for the membership are regular meeting activities. Vendors may be occasionally invited. The Society newsletter is published quarterly and sent to all members. A lending library including books, catalogs, tapes and periodicals is a benefit of membership.Discounts will be available on group purchases of books and materials. Members may also participate in scheduled trips and museum tours. The Society has a members-only discussion forum where we exchange ideas about all aspects of beading, wirework, lampworking, and other areas of interest to our members.
